With spring in full bloom, it’s often the first occasion of the season that gives friends and loved ones a chance to gather and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. However, we know hosting any party can become a bit of a stressful endeavor, especially for brunch when you don’t have all day to prepare! Skip the centerpiece

Don’t get us wrong, we love a beautiful pastel Easter bouquet, but there are plenty of ways to incorporate fresh flowers into your table design without a big centerpiece arrangement! If you’re going for a traditional pass-around Easter brunch, it’s likely that your table won’t have much room for a large centerpiece anyway. Keep the table decor fresh by adding mini wreaths to the back of each chair or tying a tulip into each napkin. If your brunch is buffet style, however, go ahead and fill up that center space at the table with a beautiful spring bouquet and adorable Easter decor!

From fresh lemonade, Southern sweet tea, and sparkling mimosas, no Easter brunch is complete without a variety of springtime drinks. Whether your brunch will be a buffet or a sit- down affair, letting guests pour their own drinks before the meal starts will optimize the party flow. As an added bonus, it can also be a subtle and convenient way to keep guests out of the kitchen while you put the finishing touches on the dishes! Another tip for your beverage bar - fancy up store-bought juices by pouring them into clear glass pitchers and throwing in some fresh fruit.

When hosting any party, it’s always a bit of a challenge to plan a menu that provides a little something for everyone. When it comes to brunch, the task becomes even trickier. Some people swear by a sweet-only breakfast where others stick to savory treats. Ideally, the perfect brunch offers a few heavier, savory items as well as a handful of lighter, sweeter choices. Easter baskets don’t have to be just for kids! We’re in love with the idea of filling a little peat pot full of Easter candy favorites to send away with guests after the party winds down. In addition to the chocolate bunnies or Cadbury eggs, include a packet of flower seeds for your guests to take home, grow and add to their own garden to enjoy for months to come!
